My Experience
It Takes Two was my wife and I’s first couch co-op game we started after our wedding and what a unique start to married life it was playing characters at odds with each other looking to seperate.
The game is joyfully fun with great mechanics, stunning visuals and a great co-op experience for split screen playing. Along with a fun story with interesting characters including “The Book of Love” Dr. Hakim who appears at timely moments to guide you along your quest.
This is one of our favourite couch co-op games in years and while we are still playing through the story, its been great so far!
About
It Takes Two is an action adventure game released on Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in March 2021. The game does not contain a single-player option, however is playable in either online or in local split-screen co-op.
It Takes Two was recieved favorably with multiple awards including “Game of the Year” at The Game Awards in 2021. The game had sold more than 5 million copies by February 2022.
